Chicago restaurant leaves no trash behind!

If thinking “green” is your second nature and you have ever worked in the restaurants’ business, you are very well familiar with the heartache of watching the, mostly, needless, endless waste created due to small thinking, simple ignorance and most likely – laziness of the behalf of the management when it comes to caring for the environment beyond the walls of a given restaurant.

Justin Vrany, restaurant owner from Sandwich Me, shows how waste created in only one hour at a regular restaurant, has taken him two years to produce – thanks to a brilliant sustainability plan.

And this summer, he will be teaching a free compost program through his restaurant.
